That is a really nice internal view Cassie.
Have you started work on your cabin yet? (I am also doing Casa Tolo) Can't wait to see what other people have done with the same base!
(If you don't mind me asking) what did you use as your elements of a house as a delight/filter/container?

I hopefully will be posting my design up tomorrow, if my internet lets me.
I thought that Casa Tolo was a delight in the way it used stairs. The movement between all the spaces within the house was what I wanted to capture in my design. Environmentally I saw how it worked with the contours of the site really interesting, however I thought the materials used by the architect would not suit the queensland environment. The container of activities - the house is very open in plan with minimal doors, I thought that intimateness very interesting.
How are you going?
